San Francisco Carnaval is one of the most innovative and diverse multi-cultural festivals in the Bay Area. 400,000 spectators converge in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District to enjoy live music performances, tasty food, kid-friendly activities, local arts and crafts, and each other!-----------------

San Francisco Cultural Arts Traditions' (SFCAT) philanthropic purpose is to promote cultural arts and education. Our Mission is to bring people together in celebration of the Carnaval Traditions that are reflected in the fabric of our community.
Your patronage of our cultural arts traditions allows us to promote education and appreciation for our diverse multicultural heritage and to enrich our understanding of our common humanity while fostering strong and healthy communities.
As an "Official San Francisco Carnaval Sponsor" your support sustains our three funding needs, the Carnaval Arts Fund, the Cultural Arts and Education Progran, and the SFCAT Endowment Fund.
- Carnaval Arts Fund (CAF): Provides funding subsidies for the Contingents and Artists with Parade Awards and Prizes, for Float, Costumes, and the King and Queen Awards and Entertainment.
- Cultural Arts and Education Program (CAEP): Supports taking our CAEP into the Bay Area participating School Districts and develop new Contingents.
- Endowment Fund (EF): Our goal is to establish an endowment fund to support the annual organizational operations and expenses of SFCAT.
